Rant On: The assholes discontinued their Kirtland Baby Formula out of nowhere screwing my wife/I. Luckily it’s made by Similac and they are similar in content, except the Similac is almost double the price. Nothing we can do I guess, but it’s unfortunately one less thing we’ll be going to Costco for.. Damn shame too... We’ve been burned twice by them now in the past year. The first time was when I bought my new phone from their kiosk (Yes, I know it’s ran by a separate company, but still) and I was supposed to receive two gift cards (one 25 dollar one and another 225 dollar one) and I got the smaller amount but never got the larger one and the status website for the rebates shows that the rebate was successfully completed. I’m so damn close to cutting up my membership cards and cancelling.

Is that the one you were buying if so its free shipping from their website.

Or is there a BJ’s wholesale near you? We switched our membership from Costco to them and they also have a “store brand” formula that is functionally Similac.

They have not been in my favor lately.

Had them put new Michelins on my truck and they whined and moaned about it because I had a slide in camper on it. Not that it was against their policy (I asked) but rather they said it was too heavy. I asked to look at the lift they would use. It was a behemoth rated to 40,000 lbs, think smaller commuter buses and the like. I grossed out at 10,400 with me in it. I think they just didn’t want to work on an 8 lug truck with steel wheels.

Won’t be buying tires from that location again. Not to mention it is an all day drop off just to have them rotate the tires. Now I do that myself.

If you’ve got a cash and carry nearby they beat costco hands Down. It’s a restraunt supply.

We do have a BJ’s nearby (and a Sams Club.. But eww..) and actually have memberships to both. I think we’ll be using BJ’s more often than Costco for now on.. Plus BJ’s takes manufacturers coupons.

The online thing would have worked if we had more than a days supply left for our son, but unfortunately we don’t.

I hear you on that one, I have an 18 month old and the coupons and being closer tipped our decision to switch memberships.

There’s been a thing around here with Chinese people buying this stuff in bulk and selling it back to China for massive markups. Maybe it’s their fault? Link

If you have Krogers in your area, their store brand is very comparable.
